Advanced Shock and Arc Flash Hazard Training

The Rozel Advanced Online Qualified Electrical Worker Training allows qualified electrical workers to take NFPA 70E based electrical safety training on their schedule and at their pace. Workers can take the training individually or as a group.

This course is a series of nine modules. Each module is an interactive video of Rozel's Lead Electrical Instructor Brian Hall breaking down the key concepts of NFPA 70E arc flash and shock hazard safety in easy to understand and apply format.

Each module has a quiz to ensure that the students has mastered the learning objectives of each module before they can proceed to the next concept. A final exam with a passing score of 70% is required to receive a certificate of completion.

FAQ

  • Who should take this training?

If you, or your workers test, troubleshoot or voltage measure electrical equipment — then arc flash training is a requirement under OSHA 1910.332 and NFPA 70E.

  • Can I set up the training in a conference room and train all my employees at once?

Yes. Many of our clients project the training on a screen or television for a group training session. Each student will need to independently take the final exam to receive a certificate of completion

  • Does this training meet the requirements of OSHA and NFPA 70E

Yes. The topics covered in this training meet or exceed NFPA 70E 110.4(A)(1) qualified worker training requirements. Most employers incorporate NFPA 70E into their overall safety program as a way to be compliant with OSHA.

  • Does this training replace in person electrical safety training?

Rozel has found in person classroom training to be the most effective form of training and we always recommend it. However, due to shift and scheduling challenges it can difficult to get everyone in one place at one time. Because this training is a video series of our instructor performing the training as he would in person it can be a great alternative.

  • Does OSHA and NFPA 70E allow computer based electrical safety training?

Yes. OSHA and NFPA 70E does allow computer or webinar style training If employees can demonstrate the knowledge and skills required for the work as a result of the training session, then the training this method is permissible. See how to integrate this training into your safety program below.
